One of the advantages of being a digital artist is that you can save your work as you progress. This makes it possible for the artist to go back and explore different creative paths. Of course the real reason is to have backup copies of your work just in case your software or hardware crashes - which has happened to me more than once.
Some time after finishing work on How Do I Look Triptych 2 (a renaming of the original How Do I Look), I decided to go back and undertake a sort of "what if..." scenario. That is how I came to create How Do I Look Triptych 1 and its companion piece How Do I Look Triptych 3.
The reason this piece is titled How Do I Look Triptych 1 rather than How Do I Look Triptych 2 is that while this work was produced after the first one, it was created from an older version of the original and lacks most of the color work of the original.
