Anak Krakatau aka Krakatoa Volcano

Anak Krakatau aka Krakatoa Volcano is a processed satellite image of that most famous volcano Krakatoa. Krakatoa is a stratovolcano that erupted in 1883 with an explosive force that has been estimated as being equal to 13,000 Hiroshima A-bombs which obliterated the island and caused more than 36,000 fatalities. Anak Krakatau, which means Child of Krakatau, is the new volcanic island that began emerging in the late 1920's following a series of eruptions. Anak Krakatau is located in the Sunda Strait between the islands of Java and Sumatra. For reference, I have included a map of the area to aid with the identification of Krakatoa and its neighboring islands.
